This unique non-alcoholic drink is an excellent substitute for wine. The ingredients are macerated, offering you this enriched in antioxidants luxurious red mocktail.

Ingredients
½
kilo
black/purple/red grapes
1
cup
non-sugar raisins
a piece of fresh ginger
3
cinnamon sticks broken into chunks

star anise

a handful of red hibiscus dried flowers

freshly grated nutmeg
filtered or spring water
Instructions
Wash the grapes and de-stem them.
Add the grapes and ginger to the
blender
with 2 cups of water, and blend.
Pour the blended mix into a large
glass bowl
Put all the other ingredients in the bowl.
Add 2-3 cups of water. Stir everything together.
Leave to macerate for 48hrs in a cold place at 4°C/39°F.
1 hour before straining, squeeze the ingredients with your hand to release all the nutrients and aromas.
Filter using a fine
mesh strainer
and transfer the mocktail into a
bottle.
Keep this non-alcoholic drink in your fridge for up to 5 days.
