For topping
- 2 ½ rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoon syrup or extra depending on your taste
- 3 tablespoon thick peanut butter
- 160 ml coconut cream
For filling
- 10 small apples
- 1 teaspoon ginger spice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon spice
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil in solid form
- 1 cup coconut cream
Heat your oven at 190°
Blend 2 cups of rolled oats to get oat flour and pour it in a big bowl
Add the other ingredients together with the remaining rolled oats and form a dough that's thick in texture
Cover the dough and set it aside
Slice your apples into thick wedges and put them in a sauté pan that can go in the oven
Sprinkle with ginger & cinnamon, add the coconut oil and cook them first at medium-high heat for about 8 mins
Pour the coconut cream, stir gently and cut off the heat
Break the dough into crumbles and spread them all over the apples
Put the sauté pan in the already hot oven and bake for 17 mins or until the crumbles are golden
Let the apple crisp cool and enjoy it while still warm

- I used small apples so use a few if you have big size apples.
- I use homemade peanut butter that's thick in texture, if you are using a flowing peanut butter consider using 4-5 spoons but then add the coconut cream gradually.
- If you don't have a skillet/pan that can go the oven, then transfer your apples into a baking tin after adding coconut cream and bake till crumbles are golden.
