Equipment

  • teapot or a mug
  • a strainer

Ingredients

  • small size chopped/grated fresh ginger
  • ½ lime or lemon (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon dry oregano
  • 1 tablespoon green tea leaves (use the amount you want)
  • 2 cups hot water (not boiling)

Instructions

  • Prepare all the ingredients.
  • Place the ingredients in a teapot or a mug.
  • Pour hot water and leave to steep.
  • Enjoy your oregano green tea.

Notes

PS: I do not sweeten this beverage. The lime's flavor reduces the bitter taste of green tea.  Do not use a lot of lemon because it will completely reduce the other flavors.
Give it a try without sweetening, then work from there.
However, I suggest using healthy alternative sweeteners like honey, stevia, agave, or maple syrup.
