My Battling With Pain...
I remember I was 16 years when it all started, chronic pain in the knees began. Simple actions such as sleeping, running, and sitting became difficult tasks. Around that time I also developed severe eczema.
I brushed it off because it stopped when I turned 17yrs. However, out of nowhere, it reappeared when I was 21yrs. But this time it was on another scale, my whole body was aching in pain, every joint in my body was in excruciating pain.
IT GOT TO A POINT WHEN WALKING, COOKING, & EVEN SLEEPING WERE AGONIZING ACTIVITIES
My feet became so swollen that I had to borrow shoes from one of my male friends. My feet widened within a few months and were full of pain during cold seasons.
The worst was my right shoulder. The pain was so excruciating, I used to sleep on a decker bed at that time, and the only solution I had found then was to tie my right hand with a belt and hang it on the upper bed with the hope to get some sleep.
I got diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis some years later, and even if the medication helped manage the flares up, the pain never left me. The only time I was in remission was when I was pregnant and breastfeeding.
Any activity was extremely painful to do.
One month after I stopped breastfeeding my daughter, I had one of the most painful Rheumatism flare-ups that lasted for months.
I couldn't hold a cup of tea and what was really heartbreaking was that it was really hard to cook for my kids, and I couldn’t lift my baby girl up!
The pain was intense, the only way I’d get out of bed was to roll myself to the floor, my hands were so swollen and folding such that I couldn’t open my doors in the morning.
My doctor would give me prescription medicine that helped mildly alleviate pain ONLY for some hours. So I’d ended taking high doses, and even so the pain never subsided completely.
But the facts are that the medicines were not healing or stopping the pain!

For me, I suffered very horrible acne, got shingles (that one was pretty bad), eczema, allergies, and of course some weight gain.
When the side effects of high medication started showing up on my blood tests, I knew I had to do something!
I became obsessed with finding out what I could do to stop that never-ending excruciating pain. After a long period of intense research, I found the answer: NUTRITION.

You’ve obviously been told that your Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes, Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, etc are not curable!
You probably have been told it’s genetic since members of your family had/have it!
You might have been also told that your diet has nothing to do with your disease.
You might have been told, as I was, that going off the medication would ONLY make the disease worse and accelerate its progression!
However, I didn’t let that stop me, I didn’t want these diseases to control my future. Not only for me but also for my children, I didn’t want them to be trapped in the same situation as me.
I had to become a better version of myself; emotionally, physically, and mentally.
As such, I dove into the deep world of nutrition to learn about how food affects our health and find a way to help myself.
I LEARNED ABOUT NUTRITION AND DISEASES
The research wasn’t easy...the answer was not obvious to find, I enrolled in courses to learn about Food and Inflammation. I read tons of scientific articles, blogs and listened to as many foods and health summits as possible.
Once I started implementing what I learned, with time results started showing.
From being unable to sit down even for 30 minutes, to now being able to run. From spending my days crying and agonizing to being able to spread positivity all around me.
It has been 4 years and my life has completely changed since I learned how to control my Rheumatoid Arthritis and other related diseases that I had.
